Early in 2023, as the concept began to take shape, we set out to create a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) in less than 90 days. Our objectives were to develop a framework for a React-based application that would communicate with the LLM via a set of APIs and to trial and test the deployment of an open-source LLM. This plan needed to be executed quickly, with resource allocation and careful preparation.
First, we chose a top-tier open-source LLM that complied with our standards and technological specifications. After that, our team set to work optimizing the model to make sure it satisfied our reliability and performance standards. Our design team worked concurrently to create an intuitive user interface that would let users engage with the LLM without any trouble. In order to provide a responsive and easy-to-use user experience, the API layer was designed to enable seamless communication between the model and the user interface.
We worked on prototyping, iterated on user feedback, and improved the user experience throughout the course of the ninety days—all the steps involved in creating a working prototype. The end product was a working MVP that proved our idea could be implemented and offered a strong base for future growth and expansion.
